STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Longer days, warmer nights, more time spent outdoors.
This summer, Six Flags Great Adventure is celebrating everything that makes the season so awesome with its Summer Vibes Festival presented by M&M’s until Aug. 14. There are six unique zones to explore during the festival: Under the Sun, Whirly Way, Splash of Color, Forgotten Garden, Wacky Wavy Way and Summer Street.
Summer Street
As the largest zone with two areas dedicated to it in the theme park, Summer Street is where guests can cool down from the summer heat. This hydration zone takes guests on a trip through summer in the city. Get soaked by a spraying firetruck and hydrant to beat the summer heat.

Under the Sun
With temperatures already exceeding 90 degrees this summer, guests can find a shady spot in this zone. Under the Sun “wows” guests with a colorful umbrella canopy photo opportunity. Guests can also be entertained by the Sun-Sational Street Acrobats.
