See Four Iconic Paris Buildings From This New Hotel’s Rooftop

Paris has iconic landmarks, rich history, and impeccable style. Now, the Hôtel Dame des Arts, a new hotel located in the legendary St Germain area on Paris’s Left Bank, is adding to the city’s allure with its unique and dynamic hotel experience. How? Well, you can see not one but four iconic Parisian buildings from the rooftop.

The new property—which opened in January and boasts 109 inviting and minimalistic bedrooms— features its 360-degree rooftop, offering panoramic views of the Eiffel Tower, Sacré-Coeur Montmartre, Panthéon, and Notre Dame Cathedral. Yes, you can easily explore the city’s most famous landmarks in the heart of Paris without ever switching locations.

But, beyond the incredible rooftop, the hotel is the first of its kind, offering travelers an unforgettable Parisian experience. Designer of the Year Raphaël Navot was tasked with crafting the interiors of the Hôtel Dame des Arts and created a blend of elegant Parisian flair with a modern industrial feel. Some rooms even have balconies that boast views of the Eiffel Tower and other city landmarks. Plus, inside the bathrooms, you’ll find Diptyque’s luxurious ‘L’Art Du Soin’ bathroom amenities collection.

Even the gym is sleek. The fully-equipped fitness center features curved wooden walls, ceilings, and wood-adorned cardio machines and weights. Personal trainers are available upon request, and there is also space for yoga and a sauna. And the hotel’s spa room also offers a menu of nourishing facials, massages, and therapies, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind.

While Navot took care of the design element, the hotel owners also wanted to ensure the sexy vibe of the space was carried out through other elements, including sound. So, the hotel has six playlists throughout the building curated by DJ Jez Pereira and available for guests to download on Spotify.

And since Hôtel Dame des Arts is a different offering compared to other popular hotels in the neighborhood, it offers a unique cuisine for the in-house restaurant: contemporary Mexican. The hotel’s courtyard restaurant is headed by Chef Othoniel Alvarez Castaneda and provides a menu that fuses classic French cuisine with Mexico’s freshness and lively spirit. Each dish is inspired by a hero ingredient and is designed for sharing.

Regarding communal space, for those who need to conduct business or have private events, the hotel offers a comfortable and distinctive meeting space that doubles as a boardroom for 19 people and a theater for 12. Bonus: the property is pet-friendly.

While there is plenty to do onsite, another great part about the property is its proximity to some of the city’s hot spots. The St. Germain neighborhood in Paris is one of the city’s most charming and historic areas. With a rich cultural heritage and a vibrant modern atmosphere, this neighborhood has plenty to explore.

Visitors can take a stroll down the picturesque Rue de Buci, lined with restaurants, cafes, and shops, or visit the iconic Saint-Germain-des-Prés Abbey, a stunning example of French Romanesque architecture. The neighborhood is also home to several art galleries, museums, and cultural centers, including the famous Musée d’Orsay, where visitors can admire works by some of the world’s greatest artists.

Ultimately, Hôtel Dame des Arts is an exciting new addition to Paris’s St. Germain area, offering a unique experience with its blend of Parisian elegance and modern industrial design. But its 360-degree rooftop with panoramic views of the city’s famous landmarks is bound to attract visitors when it opens this April.
